ALUMNI FACILITY ADMITTANCE
POLICY & PROCEDURES

An MSU Alumnus is defined as an individual who is a graduate of Michigan State University
with any accredited degree.

As an alumnus you may use our general facilities without charge. You will need to pay an aditional fee to use the Fitness Center @ IM West and IM East (see below), Group Exercise, and you will also need to pay $3/day for use of the IM West Outdoor pool. Check the Pools link for all prices.

First: An alumnus needs an alumni ID in order to enter and use our facilities

  • You must be a graduate of MSU to purchase an Alumni ID Card.
  • An IM Sports Alumni Id is REQUIRED prior to using IM facilities
  • Public/non-MSU graduates are NOT eligible for MSU Intramual facility admittance.

SECOND: How to get this card?
Call IM West at 355-5250 or IM East at 353-3136 to make an appointment. At the appointment, you are required to bring:

  • $10(card fee), and
  • valid picture ID (drivers license, passport, or student ID), and
  • proof of graduation (see below), and
  • Lastly, be aware your picture will be taken.

Valid proofs of graduation from MSU: Bring one or more

  • MSU diploma (original or copy), or
  • "Certification of Degree" (available free @ Room 50 Admin Building), or
  • Graduating transcripts (shows graduation date, cost $5), or
  • Mini-diploma(only issued for a few years)
Alumni Membership Fees:
  MSU Grad
Daily Alumni Fee: $7.00
One Semester: $195.00
Two Semester: $360.00
Three Semester: $450.00

(One semester pass may be purchased at any time. Two semester passes may be purchased only during Fall and Spring semesters & three semester passes may be purchased only Fall semester)
